Like Saul, when God rejected him he had nowhere else to go but to Satan, and he found himself a witch; trying to hold onto something that God had already taken away from him because of his disobedience to God's will, which the Bible tells us is as witchcraft.
Christians are a light in this dying world, and those who have bowed the knee to Satan are trying desperately to put that light out by any means necessary. The sun may go down, but in the morning it will rise again. We may be suffering right now, but on the other side of suffering is the joy of the Lord.
The earth quakes in God's anger.
The fire burns in God's anger.
The tornado destroys everything before it in God's anger.
The hurricane comes in the wake of God's anger.
Foundations crumble at his will.
Ancient worlds are destroyed in mere moments of time.
The thing that is coming upon the world will be something for which it cannot prepare. Many lives will be lost. Weeping and mourning will be walking down the streets naked all over the world simultaneously. Where are the handkerchiefs to wipe the sorrowful eyes? Where are the burying places to bury the dead? There are none.
The winds come from the east. The rains fall in the west. The beckoning call of desolation rises from the desert places, from the woods circling the mansions of men. Look then for your children. Where are they? They are not.
Knock on any door and there will be weeping and mourning there. Go out into the streets and behold the rivers of blood. Turn on the television and watch the news, and see the photos and videos of the devastation worldwide. Where is God? They will ask. How can he let this happen to us? They will ask.
Failing to see that sin was the catalyst. Failing to see that rebellion was the foundation of evil that was laid brick by brick until it crumbled beneath its own weight.
