The King's Sword

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
God is truth. Therefore, his word is truth. Consequently, when we are confronted by the truth all lies turn into dust before our eyes.

When we hear the truth it is unmistakable and cannot be denied except by lying to ourselves, but our innermost being recognizes the truth like a son would recognize his own father from afar.

Typically, when one hears the truth about their sin, their first response is quite naturally anger. The anger has its roots in Satan because the roots of sin within man, which was devised and constructed by Satan, are trembling in the ground of a foundation that can no longer support itself because it is a lie.

All lies are murdered instantaneously in the presence of the truth; the light of God shinning in the darkness of illusion, bringing to the forefront the miscreant deceiver that warps sensibilities, so much so, that, in fact, perceptions are askew leading one to believe a lie as though it were true, which causes one to stumble deeper and deeper into Satan's web of darkness and sin; the quicksands of defeat.

But here's the thing, a lie can only flourish in darkness, and when the truth is presented, either by hearing or reading the Word of God, which is a two edged sword tearing asunder everything in us that is not of God, the darkness is automatically dispelled.

This is why Satan fights so hard to prevent anyone from hearing or reading the Word of God because it is effectual, powerful and living, as God is, allowing no wavering room within the parameters of our mind for continued delusion, shattering any preconceived notions we may be harboring concerning our own particular sins.

If the Word of God says that murder, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, hatred, lying, stealing etc., are wrong and we read the Word of God, or hear it, because the Word of God enlightens the mind to what is truth and what is not, the only way we can stay in the same quicksand hole is by deliberately deciding to continue to act like we still believe the lie, that our wrong is right, which because of our indelible encounter with the truth, is blindness of another sort.

Who, when once healed from blindness, will say to God, "I reject my healing, take it back, I'd prefer to remain blind as I was." No one is that stupid. But that, no doubt, is what some profane people do, they run from the truth of what sin is, and is, therefore, in a continuous search for a kind of darkness that will allow them to remain the same status quo quicksand hole of a reprobate mindset; running from illuminated darkness to illuminated darkness.

Because Satan tenaciously holds on to his captives, he provides various avenues by which they can remain deluded, and maintain an unnatural or faux feeling of safety in the darkness of their minds, until the light of truth finds their new hiding places of drugs and sexual perversions; diminishing circles of darkness and or witchery, a false sense of power through satanic forces of evil that is nothing less than Satan's methodology of the destruction of souls, through the illusion of power, which in the face of an almighty God, is nothing but the Wizard of Oz hiding behind the curtains of delusion.

When the light of God opens all the curtains of Satan's delusions and exposes his utter defeat and humiliation before the eyes of the whole world, where then will the wicked hide?
Satan wraps his methodology
of destruction around those who have refused to crucify their flesh, and offers to them instead, the very thing that will certainly bring about their eternal damnation via their own devices. Therefore, according to the Word of God, the wicked are destroyed by their own hands, which is in sync with Satan's diabolical plans for the destruction of as many souls as possible, knowing that his time is winding down and his eternal punishment is on the horizon.

The Word of God, the mighty sword of truth, eventually tears asunder all the wobbly foundations of sin as a matter of course. No lie can stand in the presence of the truth because lies quickly turn into dust before the eyes of an almighty God.

The Word of God is alive and constantly discovering and overturning the hiding places of the wicked every moment of every day, until finally there will be no hiding places left because the truth of God is establishing his kingdom on earth.

So it stands to reason that the first thing that the Word of God will do is clean house, meaning all the secret cobwebs of untruths that have alienated man from God, will be swept away and discarded in the dumpsters, along with the rest of Satan's arsenal; evil weaponry of destruction devised specifically to destroy God's created man on the face of the whole earth.

Lies have a way of becoming one with its victim's, causing them to defend the territory within them where the lie dwells, but their defense is a weak one at best because when Jesus died on the cross for the salvation of the world, he rendered all lies impeachable through the shedding of his blood at Golgotha. Nothing evil can stand in the face of his sacrifice and flourish for any length of time.

We see the world parading from sin to sin, from falsehood to falsehood, but if we pay close attention we will discover the overturning of wickedness every single day.

The deeds of darkness is spilling over into the light of day, and facing the divine judgment of an angry recompensing God. We, as human beings, do not possess the stamina to out run God, who is Truth. Where then can we run? The omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscience God is everywhere at the same time all the time, holding all that is with the parameters of his kingdom, his dominion, and his rulership.

The kings sword goes forth meting out judgment in the king's land. The whole earth and everything therein is the king's land, not to mention the entire universe of his creation.
So that everything that is and will be automatically belongs to the Lord whether we, as human beings, acknowledge his sovereignty or not, we are still the Lord's own created beings dwelling in his domain, subject to his divine rule, his laws, and his judgment.

So then, who, in their right mind, will say to the King of kings, who holds the sword of all destiny in his mighty hands, "I will not obey you, I will not submit myself to you, and I will not acknowledge you as my king?"

Only a foolish person would so dare in the face of every day miracles witnessing the glory of God; the sun rising and setting, the birds graceful flight, the whale leaping from the oceans depth, the cry of a newborn baby, the moon and the stars lighting the night sky, and the intricate creation of a functioning world providing mankind with everything we need to survive by the will of a patient and loving Father!
