Resurrected Dreams
Genesis 37:5-11
And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? Or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words. And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

Ephesians 1:4-12
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Dreams are often a prophecy of our destiny, revealing to us our innate potential given to us by God to awaken what he has created in us before the foundation of the world.

Dreams are God's calling cards, leaving in their wake a stirring in our souls to reach higher and deeper into the mysteries of life that surround us everyday, and within those mysteries discover, through our faith in God, the very why of our existence in this finite time.

It is that "why" that will prompt us to do great things according to the will of God, things that were a part of our destiny before time was created.

Often times life has a way of slapping us down, wounding our faith in God and in ourselves, consequently, we allow the light of our dreams to die.

When that happens our purpose is put in neutral, neither going forward nor backward, just idling in a zone where no creativity is emerging because we have shut the door to impossibility, to our dreams given to us from God; the divine gift of rising above the fray and stepping into wonderland where dreams really do come true.

God is able to open the doors to impossible dreams because impossibility is his forte. If he has planted an impossible seed within the framework of who you are then it is only he who can cause it to step from the unseen spiritual world into the visible world of finite existence.

The world is a dream killer, doing everything possible to nullify our dreams and cause us to dwell in the Neverland of hopelessness, like idly kicking a can down a dirt road, with no particular place to go and no particular thing to do, stuck in a life that is not truly our own, but which has become a leftover remnant of what God intended our lives to be.

From that point on there is nothing left but the mutation of our very being, because having accepted less than God meant for us to have will only cause unhappiness and unfulfillment, a kind of stumbling around in the darkness, not even bothering to turn on the light of God in our lives to ascertain where we actually are, juxtaposed to where we should be, having lost faith that we can still arrive at the uniquely ordained God destination for our lives.
The threads of our lives are woven, if you will, into an ornate coat of many colors; a process that began before we entered the womb of finite time, before we cried our first cry. Only God knows what the specific threads of our individual lives consist of, and we can only find the answers to ourselves in and through him, the Almighty God, Lord of lords, and King of kings.

Our purpose is interwoven within the creative threads of our lives with guiding bells that ring along the way, if we would but listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit within our very being, the presence of God in us directing our paths, urging us forward into our own specific destinies, beckoning us to rise above all the limitations that the world seeks to bind our dreams with;  the binding ropes of despair, pain, suffering, loss, and unrelenting persecution.

Through God, who alone has the power to loose the dream killing ropes from off our lives, and set our dreams free to be born again from the realms of death, and transformed from impossible to possible by the power of the Holy Spirit in us, we rise to meet our purpose and destiny.

Once having learned how to tap into the God in us, we learn how to pirouette from dream to dream, leaving in our wake rainbow-colored happiness and fulfillment emanating from our souls, as we adorn ourselves in our God-given purpose. How wonderful it is then to know that you are fulfilling your purpose in life, that you are doing what God created you to do!

Nevertheless, even within the framework of walking in our purpose the enemies of God, those who have buried their true selves alive in graveyards all over the world, and bowed the knee to Satan, otherwise known as Satan's defacto sons and daughters, are constantly bombarding our truth with their lies, trying to turn us away from the God-ordained path for our lives, and if we listen to the lies we will be lost in a void life, a life that gives us no joy or peace, a mutated life liken unto them.
The inhabitants of hell are always waiting on the sideline of our lives, pacing back and forth like hungry wolves, expecting to voraciously devour who we were created to be, and the only way that that can be accomplished is through our permission by allowing Satan to trespass on the holy ground that God has established within you.
If, in fact, God has woven into the threads of your life a purpose that is set to change the world for the better, which, no doubt, would mean the diminishing of Satan's kingdom on earth, then be prepared to undergo tremendous sacrifices, denying yourself, and taking up your cross and following Jesus to the utmost.

At some point in your Christian walk with God you will reach the point of no return, having gone through the backsliding stage, having recouped your relationship with God and forged a stronger bond and acceptance of his will for your life, so much so that you are prepared to die rather than disobey or disappoint God.

"And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt" (Matthew 26:39).

Eventually, you will reach a point where this life means very little to you, because you know, without a doubt, that on the other side of time is eternal existence in the presence of the Lord, and that becomes your supreme goal, not to obtain things that will pass away along with time, or to please people who have no grasp of the reality of your purpose or destiny.

Gethsemane moments comes along in every Christian's life, and it is at these crucial points that we make a determination to go on with God, or fall by the wayside into living a life with no purpose, because we failed to accept God's divine will for our lives, because we didn't want to go through the pain and suffering that is a prerequisite thread that is interwoven into our coat of many colors, which is the purpose and destiny of our lives.

No one wants to be hated, betrayed, separated, thrown into a pit, and then sold into slavery, but whatever the price tag is of walking in your destiny Joseph, it must be paid. Jesus' destiny and purpose was to die on the cross for the sins of the world, the great redemption destiny, and he fulfilled it via nails and blood.
