Confidentiality for Pastors - A New Pathway to Spiritual Equilibrium

Exodus 14:13-31

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.   The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.   And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:   But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.   And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.   And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:   And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.   And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.   And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.   And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,   And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.   And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.   And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.   But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.   Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.   And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
Before God brings you into the land he has promised you, or before his promises to you come to pass, he will destroy all your enemies, every single one. That is what he does on behalf of his children, because your enemies automatically become the enemies of God. We will have to deal with new enemies in the promised land, but we will no longer be concerned about the Pharaoh's of our past.

Sometimes we just want to leap ahead of God and go into the promised land with a host of old enemies in hot pursuit, but this is a waste of time because first of all, God won't allow it, and secondly we cannot function well caught between the enemies from our past and the enemies designated for our future, which will undoubtedly be a consequence of entering into a new phase of our life.

Consequently, we must stay in place until God finishes his work of devastating our enemies, and until we see Egyptians dead on the sea shore, or until we see the destruction of our enemies, there is no need to move towards the promised land no matter how bad you may want to escape the pursuing Egyptian enemies. Stand behind God and watch him work wonders on your behalf against all your enemies.

Enemies want to enslave you by aborting your God-ordained destiny and by causing you to accept some perverted version of the life God has created specifically for you. Enemies always attack you physically, by turning your passions against you, making you your own worst enemy, and by taking advantage of the kindness in your heart because you belong to God. Therefore, your heart is open and receptive to good, but enemies will attempt to turn your good into evil.

We are wrestling with warped mentalities who have flushed their purpose down the toilets of their flesh. And they are in angry pursuit of the destruction of your purpose as well by any means necessary, even to the complete and utter destruction of themselves, so determined are they in their unmitigated desire to swallow whole your life's spiritual goals as ordained by a loving God.
God is working it all out in his own time, and working in us to make us into viable vessels for his use. So we must stand down and let God bring us home according to his divine will.

Don't worry about your enemies. God uses them to train you, to teach you what he needs you to know in order to fulfill your purpose in life. Consequently, enemies are good for you, until God finishes with them, and then they become useless and fit only for destruction.

Therefore, you will categorically know when you are standing on the threshold of your own specific promised land because your enemies will begin to fall dead at your feet. Sometimes we don't specifically know who all are enemies are, who we are actually in spiritual warfare against, but that is not a problem because God knows every single one of your enemies by name and origin. They are on his hit list, and he will cause you to know their predestined end, so that you can sigh a sigh of relief, which will continue to occur until there are no more evil children of Satan pursuing you as you journey to your promised land.

Often you may wonder why some enemies are so determined to destroy you and enslave your eternal soul; it is because God has hardened their hearts and is using them to sharped your spiritual armor, to train you for where he is taking you. So don't pollute your soul by hating them, but be thankful for them, because in a perverted sort of way, they are serving the purposes and will of God even in their corrupt state.

There are some enemies who have the good sense to fall away when they realize that they are at war with God and not you, but there are some enemies who are innate dullards, and will pursue you with their last dying breath, and enlist other like-minded souls to wreck havoc in your life in their attempt to bring you under their evil control because they have an out of order god-complex where they see themselves as all-powerful regardless of what the facts say. The facts say that God is God and we cannot even keep ourselves alive without his holy will.
The Holy Spirit, the presence of God, will be with you every step of the way as you proceed on your journey to your promised land. There is no one or nothing that can overpower God in your life, no matter how they may try, no matter what plots they may contrive, it is all under the purview of God who sees and knows all. God and God alone is the master in human lives, particularly those who have dedicated their lives in obedience to his will. God looks after those who love him because they demonstrate their love for him by obeying his holy Word. He rains down blessing upon his children in spite of the machinations of the wicked, which inevitably play into his hands because he knows what they are plotting against you and sets them up for failure.

If an enemy succeeds in doing something atrocious against you, it is all within the will of God; he simply allowed it to occur for his own divine indecipherable purpose. Somethings we accept because it could not have occurred unless it was the will of God. Sometimes we bring devastation upon ourselves because of bad decisions that we make, and or because we did not consult God before we acted on a thing. Nevertheless, God has the power to work all things together for our good, even the pain, the tears, and the loss. Sometimes we just have to woman up or man up, whichever the case may be.
